Swarovski is a Girl's best friend

All the Glitterati flocked to the New Swarovski store unveiling on Wednesday night on Oxford Street. The Champagne was flowing smoothly while the Magazine Editors chatted to Mary 'Queen of Shops' Portas(whose Company Yellow Door was hosting the Event) and a surprising resident Coco Sumner who supplied the Entertainment on the Decks. The store it's self felt like I was in a luxury white cave with a river of crystals hanging from the ceiling and some french style lough sitting that looked so expensive I dare not sit on it.  This did not stop the Swarovski family Children who were happy running around the adults unaware they are growing up into a Million dollar company that continues to grow over in the UK and other countries.

As a very classy and sociable affair I must confess I was stocked at their Generosity once I was given my Goody bag. Inside was a beautiful Swarovski Grey Leather strap bracelet and a press pack on the evening. All I can say is now Swarovski really is my new best friend!

Hidden stresses of the Count down for LFW

Am I the only one who, when counting down the days to London Fashion week, starts stressing about receiving all the invites in time, what I am going to wear? I swear the whole, progress and events themselves are as stressful as a high-powered job.  I know many will be thinking 'You must be joking' but in this industry we aren't just judged by what we do but by what we say, what we look like and who are our friends or connections. All the time we are falling over ourselves to get the best sits in front row, tweeting every minute of our lives about what we are doing or where we are and working on connecting with people in the industries many companies to get ahead or to get that best possibly invite for an event.

But I love it. 

I will happily take the stress and manic of the Fashion industry and trying to get ahead of the rest of the Grads and wannabes that are trying to share my environment. If you really want it, you have to keep plugging away and eventually it will reap rewards from all your hard efforts and be recognized for who you really are. Some strays may come and go but it's the ones that keep pushing and pushing will get somewhere.

Tweeter has come to life with all the latest updates from New York Fashion week and who is on front row. All the top magazine, websites and fashion bloggers have a up to date commentary on all the goings on and I have loved every minute of it.

Victoria Beckham showed off her new collection with great reviews and reactions. Best among these designs the best were her Dusk pink Baby doll and Halterneck knee length Body con dress, the yellow silk, 50's mini shift and the baby pink shift, box style dress. Also her manish style travel back in black is to die for.

All VERY VB but still tailored to suit the open market.....Long live VB!
