As all fashion lovers, followers, eaters and plain nut jobs know, Fashion is everything. Whether it is our main career, second job or far away dream, we live and breathe our passion 24/7.  

That's why I think it is important that we don't forget our other halves that put up with it. As a lucky girl who gets to live with her 'Knight in shinning Armour' I have increasingly become aware of how anti-social, laptop hugging and just plain self involved my drive for excellence and achievement in the fashion world has made me.  Whether I am more concerned with saving money for a Chanel bag rather then a Mortgage, as let's be honest the latter is impossible in London, My partner has firmly struck by me and my decisions through think and thin.

He has never complained about my 'Puppy dog eyes' when I see something I would rather go hungry so I can own and never given me the look of 'Another pair of shoes?'

After all, my boyfriend know's it is my life passion and trying to get me out of my bubble would involve a nice gift wrapped Louis Vuitton Brown bag which would only spur me even more.

So if  you have a partner who considers Karl Lagerfeld and Carlsberg to be the same thing, let them know it doesn't matter as long as they are patient with you, you can be the same with them...

Burberry, the British label and a personal love of mine has their Aviation style jackets plastered all over their AW10 line and I pray, with fingers crossed that the high-street brigade bring more affordable versions of this classic looking jacket.



This style has been repeated previously for the men's catwalk but it's now refreshing to have for the ladies. Topshop have realised this and released a denim and faux sheep lining that is a snip at just £65 but of course they have produced their own catwalk classic but still at £265, it's still going to dent your pocket a little!

Clogs and Winter

With Summer product coming to a close, the clogs were seen to be hot on their heels. But with the success of the old traditional footwear, Winter updates have been made in the forms of clog boots, tall and small, Brogues and lace-up worker boots.

Topshop have a great selection as well as New Look, Kurt Geiger and ASOS. Designer labels have moved on from the clogs but the influences of their AW10 trends are heavily shown in the new clogs for winter. I think the wooden heels are here to stay, so maybe we should all invest in a pair.
