You would think really that me wearing a Vintage dressfrom like 20 years ago would get a little bit of appreciation at PFWbut the French simply did not understand it! Shame…
Paris Fashion week is Hot. And I am not talking about the models or Celebs. The sun has been warm for October that I have been forced back into my Summer Wardrobe. I was pretty gutted as you can image as I have so many fab A/W pieces I want to wear but so please I got this play suit from Urban Outfitters as it has been a god send!
I’m also totally in Love with thisLulu Guinness bag and it has had a few snaps while I have been carrying it around Paris. It’s a great size and all my invites and camera fitted inside, perfectly. A Bloggers dream!
Packing for Paris Fashion Weekhas been a nightmare! I have so many gorgeous new items I want to wear from A/W collectionsbut when it’s 28c in Paris, you are kind of put off the idea of wearing woolly jumpers and long skirts when all you want to do is jump in a pool……. Well more outfit posts it is then……
Day 3 and by this time I am edger for comfort. I thought I would try out my new trusty Bertie Wedges for this occasion and they were completely up to the challenge. Wedges are the best thing for Fashion week and these Bertie's blue Sneakers were very comfortable for running around town. I also wore my Medwinds shirt from their A/W 2011 collection and this looked pretty-smart with my floral skirt and Marc Cain thick Striped Jumper.
First day of London Fashion Week and I have come over all Australian. With some many cool brands from the land of Aus, I feel like I am compelled to share some of their best bits with you.
Finders Keepers I discovered in my inbox and immediately feel in love with their laid back Chic and effortless Style. I adore this cut-out Shoulder blouse and they have many items from their collection that have similar details.
Have a look on their site as they are totally worth a little peek.
Now Sambag have some serious Accessories to make any girl jealous. With gorgeous Bags, Ballet pumps and even clothes on their site, there are some really lovely pieces that will add a little 'La Classic' look to your outfit and wardrobe. I totally fell for their rucksacks and as the trend as returned to London, I thought Sambag's version would be perfect to take to LFW with me.
And how could we not forget FINSK. OK, so they aren't Australian but they are simply divine! Finsk have some amazing things coming up so keep your ears and eyes open as it is all delicious news for us Shoe hores.
Day 3 of LFW and I am very tired. As I didn't have as many shows today, comfort was a must and of course, that meant Converses. I still didn't get home until 8:30(but that was a vast improvement from Day 2 which was 1am).
I topped off my look with one of Marc Cain's Leather jackets from A/W 2011 which was perfect as the Autumn chill was starting to set in.
You can imagine that there are many Fashion bloggers who do style spotting at Fashion week and one of them stopped me for a photo...I think she liked the FINSK'S I was wearing more then anything...
As we can't always afford to eat out and Paris can be pretty expensive in that department, we headed the our local supermarket to pick up some pieces to nibble on while we worked on getting the days adventures written up...
Fur Bolero and Blue Mac by the fab MARC CAIN, Skinny Jeans the lovely by H&M and Scarf bought in Paris
