Maria Grachvogel - London Fashion Week S/S 2012

Glam and glamour was the message and essence of Maria Grachvogel. With the perfect location for the designers S/S collection, the pieces were beautifully made and rich with quality. With Maria's signature prints, the designer inserted splits, draping and overlapping to really embrace a more Womanly shape. I was totally in love with the trousers from the collection which had a flattering gathered look at the bottom of the legs and would be fab with a pair of high, high heels. Colours such as Coral, Lime and beige really added some interest to the pieces and gave block colour a little update.
Bags that reflected the collection were also a strong point showing Maria can design anything but still keeps true to her original vision.

Maria Grachvogel - LFW A/W 2011

One thing that Maria is fantastic at is draping. With her signature print that was used to match other pieces in neutral colours such as Orange, Beige and Black, the print, really heighten the silhouettes of the collection and give them a special one-off feel.

With a very romantic appearance, Maria is a visionary when it comes to creating pieces that are wearable yet have that exclusive texture. The dresses, play suits and trousers were all cut in a certain way that would appeal to all women and were sexy yet not too revealing. With a powerful collection that still has that essence of day to night, Maria's Collection is sure to please many for A/W 2011.

Maria Grachvogel 17th Sept LFW SS11

Yellow was the summer sunshine of Maria’s catwalk collection. Along with this brave colour, neutral shapes of taupe, beige, white and cream graced the catwalk in forms of high waisted trousers in a 1970's inspired feel, lose fitted silk blouses and floaty maxi dresses.

Colours such as sea blue, navy and the designers signature prints were used on very simple styles that can be transformed as day to evening wear.  V neck, cape sleeves and ruched waist lines were some of the features used in the collection as well as split fronts and draped backs. It was all about the loose fitting and relaxed essence.

Maria Grachvogel has some truly gorgeous must have garments that all the top Editors will want for their next season. With her lose blazers and sleeveless dresses, this collection is perfect for your work wear.
