Well I wasn't 100% sure what Paul Costello was going to provide for this New SS11 Collection but it was simply amazing. The collection was introduced with a Lilly Allen track, creating a bouncy girlie vibe that the models played up to!
There was a lot of 1950's Baby doll inspired pieces in Jacquard and metallic that oozed Girlishness and sex kitten at the same time.
I was expecting a safe and tailored collection of suits and business wear for women but none of it even touched the runway. There was also a family touch to the show as Paul's five son's took to the stage and showed off his latest tailoring for men which they looked particularly smart in.
It was a wonderful show to kick off London fashion week, especially when I was starting to think that London fashion was losing it's touch it's touched to New York. So pleased I was wrong!
