Emu S/S 2012

Boots and more boots were on display at Emu's new S/S preview. With options for men, women and the little ones, the whole family can be snug during the winter to spring transition.
The women's collection has had some updated features including straps and buttons and the men's boots have edged away from their normal Emu look and are heading for harder wearing leathers for durability.
But the stars of the collections are the Kids range, with Lady Birds, Sheep and Sharks with added Fins as extras.
As well as a strong footwear base, the brand have produced some warm outwear in durable materials for our harsh winters. With Jackets, coats, denim and warmer tops, Emu are giving us some top to toe protection for the wind, wet and snow.

A nice surprise from Uggs and those Aussies for A/W 2011

So Uggs. A brand that came out of nowhere, worn by Celebrities and was originally for Australia's after they finished catching a big wave. I sadly never really understood the whole love of Uggs thing but when I saw the images of their new A/W collection I was pleasantly surprised and better yet, not an Ugg boot in sight.
As Winter products are their speciality, Uggs have taken key trend pieces such as the ankle boots, clogs and the riding boot shape to create shoes that are comfortable, durable and fashionable.
I have been lucky enough to be given the chance to use some of the new A/W 2011 boots to show how easy they are complementing outfits and to show you the little details you would never normally see.

My Favorites so far are the Riding boots with the metal stir-ups that tucks underneath the heel. You can also see the quality of Ugg's products especially on the purple suede boots(above) with the contrast stitching used to attached the shoe to the sole.

Smart and Trendy Shoes from Dr Marten's for A/W 2011

Dr Martens new A/W 2011 product is something to get excited about. With their classic boots to their season colours, there are some pretty trendy pieces for the Winter months. With styles that are black and white checkered, oil coloured and floral, the range is very wide and there will be a favorite colour or style for all.
Dr Martens have even introduced a thin heel for their new ankle boot in black and brown and also a girlie lace up which are very chic and feminine.

Clogs and Winter

With Summer product coming to a close, the clogs were seen to be hot on their heels. But with the success of the old traditional footwear, Winter updates have been made in the forms of clog boots, tall and small, Brogues and lace-up worker boots.
Topshop have a great selection as well as New Look, Kurt Geiger and ASOS. Designer labels have moved on from the clogs but the influences of their AW10 trends are heavily shown in the new clogs for winter. I think the wooden heels are here to stay, so maybe we should all invest in a pair.

When Christian's go bad

Socialite Birdie Bell wears the Christian's I've been raving about...

I spotted this picture over at Go Fug Yourself.

That heel, those red soles, but the shoes look awful!?! How do I sum up this outfit?

One word: Horrendous.
