Very S/S 2012 Preview and Competition!!

Those lovely people of Very, recently invited some of their favourite bloggers down to their S/S 2012 preview. With lace dresses from Fearne Cotton's collection, Floral prom dresses and padded jackets, there was plently to enjoy and drool over for the next few months. As well as yummy cakes and pick-and-mix, we all got to chat to the Very team and express our delight at the new collection.

Very.co.uk: Competition winner for New V-team member

Press and Fans of Very.co.uk headed to Covent Garden to hear the results of the Nation-wide search for the final member of the V-team. For the chance to win, applicants entered the competition on facebook where people could vote for the best person they thought would be perfect to join fashion stylist Kirsty Drury, interior designer Sally Cullen, makeup artist Ginni Bogado and Cate Sevilla, a technology expert and blogger who all make up the V-team.

After knocking all of the 2,800 entries down to four finalists, Suzi Tse was announced the lucky winner of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

On the night of the announcements, all of the V-team talked the audience through Beauty, Fashion, home and gadgets that were hot off the presses and even passed some round for people to have a look at.

The evening as a whole was a great event and was lovely to meet the V-team and learn a little bit about their specialist fields and see some great products that Very sell online and from their catalogue.

T-shirt Competion from Caritaz

The Gorgeous people of Caritaz have launched a T-Shirt competition with the wonderful Terence Higgins Trust. The fantastic opportunity gives young designers a chance to create a T shirt to help raise awareness of HIV in teens.

The winning design will be made and sold and if that is not enough the winner will win an ipad!
